A finely crafted Kalevala Koru bronze brooch inspired by an ancient 5th-century fibula found in Vähäkyrö, Perkiö, Finland. Known as “Hakaneulan esiäiti” — “the ancestress of the safety pin” — this brooch echoes one of the earliest fastening designs used in Finnish dress.
