A Kalevala Koru bronze brooch inspired by an 11th-century concave brooch discovered in Finland. Known as the Osmansolki, this design features a Solomon’s knot at its centre — a motif symbolising unity and eternity — surrounded by intricate scrollwork characteristic of Viking Age ornamentation.
This example has developed a beautiful green patina, which highlights the fine detailing and lends an authentically ancient appearance.
Due to its solid weight and historic design, I suggest wearing it on a heavier fabric to ensure the piece sits beautifully.
