Vintage Finnish silver brooch by Kupittaan Kulta, designed by Elis Kauppi. The brooch has a polished rectangular openwork frame, with a central banded amethyst stone set at an angle.
The amethyst has natural purple and pale banding across the stone, giving it a soft contrast against the clean silver setting. A lovely Finnish modernist piece with a simple geometric shape and strong mid-century feel.
