This 1960s Finnish silver ring by Martti Viikinniemi is pure lunar brutalism — a bold cube form, deeply textured and cratered like the surface of the moon. Fittingly, it was made in 1969, the year of the moon landing. It’s got presence and a lot of character, with the kind of craftsmanship that defines Finnish modernist design.
