This 1960s Finnish modernist ring by Kultaseppä Salovaara features a large faceted rock crystal set in an open prong mount that rises strongly above the band. The stone is bright and clear, catching the light through its many facets and the open sides of the setting. The mounting has the sculptural, elevated silhouette characteristic of Salovaara’s mid-century work, with a wide, tapering band that supports the tall crown-shaped top.
