A striking 1970s Finnish bronze necklace by Pentti Sarpaneva. This piece features a substantial pendant with a sculptural, organic bronze setting surrounding a slice of agate. The stone shows visible banding, subtle natural tone variation, and a polished surface.
The bronze setting has the textured, irregular style associated with Sarpaneva’s work of the period. The necklace has a bold scale and presence when worn.
