Antique Danish silver brooch from the early 1900s, made in the Skønvirke period. The long flowing design has a deep red glass paste stone set into a flower at one end, with raised leaves and scrolling detail along the stem.
Marked 830S and engraved on the back. One of the engravings reads “1 P”, which may suggest it was originally presented as a prize or award.
Size 6.2cm x 1.2cm
This has been gently cleaned and slightly polished ready to wear.
Wear commensurate with age.
