This sterling silver brooch is based on a 12th-century buckle found in Mahittula, Raisio, Finland. The original artifact was decorated in intricate filigree, which Kalevala Koru has faithfully recreated here, set with rose quartz and deep spectrolite stones. A beautiful revival of medieval Nordic craftsmanship.

Hallmarks: Kalevala Koru makers mark, Finnish Crown mark, 925 for 925 sterling silver, date letter U7 for year 1973
