A striking vintage bronze brooch by Kalevala Koru featuring the historic Bird of Tampere motif. This design is based on an 11th-century archaeological find from the Tampere region of Finland, echoing early Middle Ages symbolism and craftsmanship.

The stylised bird form, with its bold curves and dotted ornamentation, reflects ancient Finnish metalwork traditions and mythology — a protective motif believed to symbolise renewal, strength, and good fortune.

This has been cleaned and polished ready to wear.
