Kalevala Koru created a series of opera-themed jewellery in collaboration with the Savonlinna Opera Festival between 2003 and 2007. Turandot, designed by Kirsti Doukas, was the first piece in the series. Released in the summer of 2003, the collection takes its inspiration from the opera of the same name composed by Giacomo Puccini.
