A 1960s Finnish modernist silver ring by Martti Viikinniemi, set with a large domed smoky quartz cabochon. The simple raised setting puts the stone at the centre of the design and gives the ring the bold sculptural look associated with Finnish jewellery of this period.

Marks: Turun Hopea maker's mark, Finnish crown mark, 813H, Turku town mark and date letter O7 for 1967.
This has been cleaned ready to wear.
