This heart-shaped design with dangling silver discs dates back to the 1940s and was originally created by Germund Paaer, Kalevala Koru’s first head designer.
In 1972, this piece was renamed "SALT" when it was gifted to the wives of U.S. and Soviet heads of state during the historic Cold War SALT peace talks.
Hallmarks: Finnish Silver Crown, 925 for sterling silver, Kalevala Koru makers mark, Date letter U7 for year 1973.
Size 5cm x 4.3cm.
This has been cleaned and polished ready to wear.
