Vintage Finnish locket by Juhani Vuorisalmi dating from the 1970s, with an elongated teardrop form decorated with a detailed raised figural scene of mother & child and angel on the other side. The heavily modelled relief gives the pendant an almost sculptural quality and contrasts with the otherwise simple locket shape.

Marks: VUORISALMI FINLAND makers mark, Finnish Crown Mark, 830, Turku city mark, date letter Z7 for year 1977
Comes with a silver chain, it might not be original to pendant.
