Vintage 1990s silver necklace by Urpo Kajander, set with a spectrolite stone. Made in 1997 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Finland’s independence. Kajander also produced work for Kaunis Koru.
The pendant can also be worn as a brooch.
Spectrolite is exclusively found from Finland, making it distinct from other labradorites found worldwide.

Hallmarks: Urpo Kajander makers mark, Finnish crown mark, 925 for sterling silver, date letter U8 for 1997. Also marked ITSEN. SUOMI 80V (Finnish independence 80 years)
