Vintage Finnish bronze Halikon Lampola ring by Kalevala Koru. The twisted rope design is based on a ring found at Lampola in Halikko, dating from the 11th–12th century Crusade period in Finland. Similar twisted jewellery was worn across the Baltic region during the Middle Ages.
