Vintage bronze necklace by Kalevala Koru, known as Hattulan Lintu or Bird of Hattula. The pendant has a stylised bird form with raised decorative detail and a warm bronze finish.
The design is based on a water bird motif from Luurila, Hattula, dating to the 1000s. In northern tradition, water birds were linked with fertility, spring and the return of life after winter.
