Vintage Finnish Kalevala Koru brooch with a bold circular shield-like design formed from stylised coiled serpents. The design draws on ancient Nordic ornament and archaeological jewellery forms. Silver plated finish with an antiqued surface that emphasises the raised decoration. Minor wear to plating on edges.
