Based on a ancient Scandinavian design. Vintage Finnish bronze necklace by Kalevala Koru featuring the traditional Hannunvaakuna, or St John’s Arms. The continuous looping design was traditionally seen as a protective symbol, also linked with the four directions and the old belief in guardian spirits holding up the sky.
