Vintage Finnish bronze Yläneen Krapusolki brooch by Kalevala Koru. The design is based on an archaeological brooch found at Anivehmaa in Yläne, Finland.
Known as the Crab Brooch, this design is based on a type of brooch worn in Finland during the Merovingian period (approximately 550–800 AD). Its distinctive shape features raised circular bosses, curved sections and engraved linear details.
Size: 4.5cm x 2.6cm
Marks: Kalevala Koru maker's mark, Made in Finland.
