Striking Danish modernist ring in 14ct yellow gold, set with a large faceted synthetic alexandrite. Designed by Erik S. Cohn-Pålsson and made in Copenhagen, this piece features a bold architectural setting that lifts the stone high above the finger. The stone shifts colour from purple to blue depending on the light, showing off its crisp facets and vibrant sparkle.
This is a substantial and weighty ring with a sculptural presence on the hand. Marked 585 for 14ct gold and stamped with the ESC-P maker’s mark for Erik S. Cohn-Pålsson. Likely made in the 1970s.
